JOB Content Transparency Guide
THIS GUIDE CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS
JOB contains coarse language and references to distressing adult themes. The production includes a weapon, occasional loud sound effects, and bright lighting effects.
This production is recommended for audiences aged 16+.
The terms we use
– The word ‘description’ indicates that a character references or describes the topic, action or word. Described verbally but not shown on stage.
– The word ‘discussion’ indicates that character/s discuss in more detail the topic or actions. Described verbally but not shown on stage.
– The word ‘depiction’ notes that the referenced material is staged or performed in the production.
COARSE LANGUAGE
– There is frequent strong language throughout the play, including repeated use of swear words including “f##k”, “s##t” and “bulls##t.”
REFERENCES TO MENTAL DISTRES,, SELF-HARM AND SUICIDE
– Descriptions of a panic attack, a public mental distress breakdown, acute panic, sleep deprivation, hospital treatment, and the use of non-prescribed medication.
– Discussions of self-harm and suicide.
– Depiction of a gun being held to a character’s own head.
– Reference to a thirteen-year-old dying by suicide.
