Silo Theatre is looking for a new Executive Director to lead the company into its next chapter.
News like this is always bittersweet, as it means saying farewell to our current Executive Director Chloe Weavers, who has steered the company with grace and precision through what has been a turbulent time for the sector. Chloe will be stepping down to pursue other projects, focusing on her community-based producing practice.
Chloe joined Silo in 2021 and alongside Artistic Director Sophie Roberts led the company through multiple pandemic-related challenges, as well as presenting our 2021/22 season of work which included The Little Shop of Horrors: Lockdown Edition, seven methods of killing kylie jenner, Mauri Tau (return season), The Writer and The First Prime-Time Asian Sitcom. During her tenure she also worked with the company on a new strategic plan and recently the leadership team set a bold new direction for the company, with 2023 seeing the company enter a period of artistic incubation to invest in new, original work from Aotearoa.
This is an exciting time to join Silo, with the company preparing for our 2023/24 season, which will include the new works currently in development. If you are interested in the role, you can read more about it here.
