We curate an annual season of local and international work that champions new forms of storytelling in order to speak directly to the world around us.

We work with Aotearoa’s most exceptional theatre practitioners at every stage of their career, providing the space for them to extend their practice and create their most courageous work.

Our focus is on voices that are urgent and are not heard often enough.

Our work is only imaginable with support from our Patrons. Silo Patrons are passionate individuals who believe in our work and feel strongly about supporting a visionary creative culture in Auckland and Aotearoa. To ensure Silo has a bright, abundant future, we need your support. We are currently experiencing a perfect storm of factors that have made our operating environment more challenging than ever — costs are rising everywhere, we are continuing to manage the after-effects of the pandemic, and already scarce arts funding is more competitive than ever — to put it bluntly, we need your help more than ever before.

Patrons get intimate access to the Silo team and our artists, at a number of events over the calendar year. Usually, this involves coming to see our work live on stage, but this year during our artistic incubation (click here to learn more), our Patrons have exclusive access to Silo through a curated calendar of events. Here's what we have lined up for 2023:

— An intimate in-conversation event with one of our Artistic Associates (click here to meet our 2023 Artistic Associates)
— The Silo team, artists and Patrons will gather together for a mid-winter dinner
— Exclusive invitations to our Season Launch
— A special Patron Night live performance, complete with drinks and nibbles, at the end of the year

Our Patrons fall into three tiers:

— Patron $200+
— Foundation Patron $1,000+
— Patron Plus $2,500+
— Generator Patron $5,000+

All our Patrons receive the same great benefits, so please choose whichever tier feels right for you.
