Freya Silas Finch and Sophie Roberts spent a week holed up in the iconic Samoa House on Karangahape Road, working on an early version of the A Slow Burlesque script – a year and a half later and the show is up on its feet in the rehearsal room, with opening night just two weeks away.

Time sure does fly – which is why you should book your tickets asap! With limited seats available this one's going to sell out in a snap.

Kia ora Whangārei – Silo's coming to town!

We're stoked to be part of this year's @whangareifringe with a very special event for our youngest audience members.

The Magic of Puppetry & Music with Silo Theatre is a free workshop where your young ones will bring a classic Aotearoa children's book to life through puppetry and music, led by award-winning theatre makers Leon Radojkovic and Sophie Roberts.
We're in town for two sessions – 11am and 1.30pm – on Saturday 28 September at the beautiful Hihiaua Cultural Centre.
